The Envision Sustainability Rating System is the product of a joint collaboration between the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure and Harvard University. It provides a holistic framework for evaluating and rating the community, environmental, and economic benefits of all types and sizes of civil infrastructure projects.
Envision evaluates, grades, and gives recognition to infrastructure projects that use transformational, collaborative approaches to assess sustainability indicators over the course of the project's life cycle. It can be used by infrastructure owners, design teams, community groups, environmental organizations, constructors, regulators, and policy makers.
This webinar features Bill Bertera, executive director of the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, and Larry Stevens, project director with HR Green, Inc. and a member of the ISI Board of Directors. Mr. Bertera and Mr. Stevens will introduce attendees to this versatile assessment tool and professional credentialing system.
The Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure was founded in 2011 by three key civil infrastructure organizations -- the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Public Works Association (APWA) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
