Fully operational in 1995, the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo, Calif., is a state-of-the-art water recycling treatment facility that produces 30 million gallons of water per day, conserving enough drinking water to meet the needs of 60,000 households for a year. It is the largest water recycling facility of its kind in the United States, having recycled more than 130 billion gallons of water since 1992.
