Combined Sewer Overflows Addressed with Green Infrastructure
Combined sewer overflows cause more than the obvious water quality issues. In cities like Cincinnati, Ohio, they are blamed for degrading quality of life in many ways. The city's metropolitan sewer district and its partners have developed a plan to revitalize the blighted neighborhoods of the Lick Run watershed by using green infrastructure to help clean up and beautify its largest CSO.
