DURANGO, Colo. -- The Bureau of Reclamation, city of Farmington, N.M., and Navajo Nation will continue negotiations on a proposed operations agreement for the Navajo Nation Municipal Pipeline, part of the Animas-La Plata Project. The second negotiation meeting was scheduled at the Bureau of Reclamation in Farmington, N.M.
The operations agreement will set forth terms and conditions that are determined to be necessary for delivery of water through the Navajo Nation Municipal Pipeline.
All negotiations are open to the public as observers, and the public will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments pertaining to the operations agreement during a thirty minute comment period following the negotiation sessions.
