The Growing Sustainable Communities Conference is a one-day educational opportunity for municipal professionals and elected officials on May 3, preceded on May 2 by a special, half-day legislative roundtable for top leadership, and a networking reception for all conference and roundtable attendees.

Hosted by Applied Solutions and the Sonoma County Water Agency, the conference is presented by Sustainable City Network and Climate Communities, and will educate leaders and staff on the latest sustainability ideas, plans and best practices in four distinct programming tracks:

• Water

• Energy

• Transportation

• Resource Management

The conference is intended for municipal professionals and elected officials including: city/county managers, administrative staff, mayors, council members, municipal engineers and planners, as well as departmental directors of public works, building services, water/wastewater, solid waste, IT/GIS, parks and recreation, transit, fleet management, utilities and traffic control, as well as state/federal officials who play important roles in supporting sustainability.
