Sustainability advocates from throughout the U.S. will attend the 8th annual Growing Sustainable Communities Conference to be held in Dubuque, Iowa, on Oct. 6 and 7.

The GSCC is known for excellent workshops and inspirational keynote speakers, providing civic leaders, municipal professionals and businesses an array of practical, applicable ideas for starting or enhancing sustainability initiatives.

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to attend a wide variety of workshops, mobile tours and keynote addresses.

Presented by the City of Dubuque and Sustainable City Network, the Growing Sustainable Communities Conference is intended for community leaders representing local government, business, non-profits, schools and healthcare institutions. This year’s event is sponsored by Crescent Electric Supply, and other corporate sponsors.

The GSC conference will feature 30 educational workshops and mobile tours related to sustainability, resource conservation and community engagement. Registration is now open at http://gscdubuque.com. Early-bird pricing is in effect for a limited time.
