WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Representative Earl Blumenauer recently introduced a bill aimed at restoring a suite of clean energy and energy efficiency tax incentives.

“Americans are suffering right now because some in Congress are blocking tax incentives for clean energy," said Franz Matzner, associate director of government affairs at the Natural Resources Defense Council. "Our skies are becoming increasingly polluted, workers in the Midwest are losing good manufacturing jobs, and chronic market insecurity is forcing businesses everywhere to hold back investments.

“This commonsense bill sends a clear message: When Congress returns in November, anyone who cares about saving jobs and cutting pollution should make restoring clean energy incentives priority one.”
