WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is seeking applications for its Roadmaps to Health: Community Grants Program, which seeks to demonstrate how improving social and economic factors such as education, employment and income, family and social support, and community safety can enhance people's health.

RWJF will provide 20 communities with grants of up to $200,000 to focus on these priority social and economic factors, and implement changes in policies, laws, regulations, rules, or mandates; or systems, priorities, protocols or practices; that can positively influence health. Applicants must provide a 100 percent match, including a 50 percent cash match. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2012.
